Wildstone Airports, in partnership with Omniserv and Heathrow, has issued a new media advertising opportunity for buses serving the UK hub, under the banner Heathrow Connections.

The opportunity is available on 26 new buses that provide access to 8.5 million passengers transferring flights at Heathrow. They are onboard for an average 13 minutes.

The new fleet of transfer buses offers a major advertising opportunity

Wildstone Airports said: “Heathrow Connections will create a totally immersive experience for Heathrow customers, on their transit journey as they travel from the plane towards the departures lounge, before they engage with Heathrow’s fantastic retail offer.

“All of the 26 buses will have a 42-inch digital screen fitted in the interior as well as Wi-Fi sponsorship, sound, and extensive branding both inside and outside. There is the option to provide in-bus shopping through mobile or specially designed seat back tablets.”

Wildstone Airports Managing Director Paula Oliver said: “It has been a pleasure to work with OmniServ and Heathrow Airport on this project to deliver this completely unique and immersive opportunity. As the UK’s premier hub, Heathrow Airport provides an exclusive and highly desirable international audience. We love the interactivity which is possible within these buses, however are also really excited about the exterior vinyl wrap which will provide a brand with huge advertising canvases, constantly in motion around the airport,”.

OmniServ Chairman Ernie Patterson added: “OmniServ and Heathrow Airport have enjoyed a long-standing partnership across many aspects of airport operations. We’re incredibly excited at the prospect of opening the door for new revenue generation for the airport by expanding into operational service channels that were previously untapped. This marks another step to ensuring all key touch points in the customer’s connection journey at Heathrow provide a quality, enhancing experience.”
