In this newly created role, Cassar’s remit will be to develop strategic partnerships internationally and continue to grow the community of digital brands on the Tempest platform.

Based in Montreal, Cassar, who has been leading Say Media’s sales internationally for the past eight years, will transition to the new corporate strategy and business development role with immediate effect.

At the same time, Susan Kravitz has been appointed Global Head of Sales for Say Media. In this newly created role, Kravitz will oversee revenue in all markets. Say has offices across the United States, in Canada and the UK. She will be based in New York and begin her new position effectively immediately.

Kravitz brings more than 18 years of industry experience to this new role. She joins Say Media from Discovery Communications where she served as Vice President, US Digital Sales. She had previously worked at BrightLine where she served as the Senior Vice President New Business and Client Management. She’s also held senior roles at Co.Op TV, the Meredith Corporation, OMD and BBDO.

“Susan is a great fit for this newly combined role and I’m incredibly excited to have her on the team,” said Sanchez. “We feel like she is the right leader to help accelerate our sales presence in market.”

“Say has such a powerful product set and a story that really rises in a market that’s so cluttered,” says Kravitz. “I’m delighted to be working with a strong team of people, led in a way that’s clear and concise allowing the business to be nimble and change.”

The news follows the announcement of a $20 million financing influx last week, solidifying Say Media’s position in market and positioning the company to further invest in its publishing platform, Tempest, and global advertising business.
