AirServ company, OmniServ has announced the acquisition of Attitude Events, a provider of travel-retail and customer service specialists in airports. According to the company, the move strengthens its travel-retail presence and offering in European airports.

Through the acquisition, Attitude Events will become part of the Blackjack Promotions division, which focuses on airport retail and experiential marketing.

Founded in 1999, Attitude Events delivers staffing solutions to the travel-retail platform. It currently works with clients including Dufry-owned World Duty Free, William Grant & Sons and Coty Prestige.

This latest development follows the expansion of OmniServ and Blackjack into the Middle East with operations in Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi airports earlier in the year and extension of the Airport Promotion Agencies network, of which Blackjack is a founding partner.

A UK airport service contractor covering over 15 airports, the acquisition strengthens OmniServ and Blackjack’s positions in Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Edinburgh and Glasgow airports.
