KLPR was appointed in March 2016 to establish Collective as Digital Brand specialists and pioneers in video advertising and innovation in the UK marketing and ad tech space. We were looking for regular company news coverage to support brand development, alongside thought leadership pieces to spearhead Collective and our senior staff to the forefront of the online advertising world.
Upon appointment, KLPR was instrumental in helping us to pin down our key messaging and identifying our key target press areas in the UK. The team set about alerting us on a daily basis to relevant news hooks for us to find a suitable angle to further debate. They developed a confident, authoritative tone for the Collective brand, which was consistently used across all our press materials to promote our messaging and research.
The team has also proven to be a great support in developing industry award entries and case studies – which have gone on to see us shortlisted for numerous industry awards schemes. They were also the driving force in the creation of our monthly newsletter – sourcing relevant content and creating copy.
An added bonus for us was the in-house creation of video content that KLPR were able to generate, a valuable resource that has already proven to be a success and one that we are excited to continue using and developing.
Within just a few days of working with KLPR, the team had provided us with a series of relevant news hooks, which in turn, resulted in coverage for Collective in M&M Global, Econsultancy, Exchange Wire, Digital Marketing Magazine, Cream Global, PerformanceIN, Video Ad News and VOD Professional, results in excess of what we had expected in our key areas of focus. The team successfully assisted us in the roll out of our annual Online Video Advertising Market Report with over 10 pieces of coverage focussing on where video advertising trends – a key message for us to communicate.
They set about suggesting and putting together numerous awards nominations on our behalf, resulting in Collective receiving shortlistings for no less than 6 IPA Media Owners Awards alongside 2 survey based categories including Best at Innovation and Best Media Owner.
We also achieved two video thought leadership features on Cream Global and a longer feature from our charity brand event in Third Sector (a key vertical for us) – an approach we had never even considered until working with KLPR, and a new process team KLPR made comfortable and easy for us to adapt to.
